Flyby,
SDD and ramdisk won't help CoD if you already have enough internal memory (>= 4Gb) and the stutters are largely game engine (and sometimes sound) related.
A faster cpu or one with more than 4 cores currently does not help much. A core i5 2500 (or AMD equivalent) is more than enough for this game right now.
A fast video card however seems to help a lot, especially with all things turned on (grass and roads, high land shading etc, etc). This seems one of those games that eats video mem. like no other game before. 1 Gb can be enough, but if you can buy a card with 2 Gb for a few euro's more, I'd choose that one.
