I use the PC mainly..
However When I do use the PS3 browser off, to stop freezing you have to turn Javascript off.
Hit Triangle -> Down arrow to one named "JavaScript" -> Hit Cross -> Down arrow to "Off" option -> Hit Cross
To turn it back on, which I suggest as other sites won't work fully, then go to the last part and hit "On" instead.
