The best parts of the Star Wars films are indeed the dog fights, I was so glad when at the end of A NEW HOPE (death star one) i saw a Y-Wing fly back to Yavin with the Millennium Falcon and 2 X-Wings, simply because i love the Y-Wing, its like a futuristic Hurricane
a work horse!! Yet can still do the job.
But for me..the film that get my blood going and makes me want to get on IL2 ASAP is indeed the BATTLE OF BRITIAN.
A true classic. The scene that i like in that one is where the Poles are on a routine training flight (even though they were trained pilots anyway) and the keep saying "repeat please" as they sneak off to engage the HE III's. A great scene.
Just talking about that film now makes me want to get on BOP and do some dogfighting over southern England with the BOB sound track playing in the back ground.....
