I haven't tested if this matches what we have in the sim, but the engines are different as well (we have DB601s) so there could be differences. Also, 10 minutes on the clock instrument corresponds to 1 degree, so if you keep the button pressed and you see it turning 15 minutes per second it would match the specs of the DB605 system.

it does not turn at such a speed for me (1hr in 4 sec) but much much more slowly. IMHO the pitch rate was much more appropriate before this patch.
I did read the link with much interest. Tremendous works. Now we see why the Auto Prop looks like so real in IL2 for the 109. I guess that any latter vers eventually modeled would re-use the same model. Interestingly the IL2 109E was more difficult to revs than the F or G.
I hve seen that you recommend 10h10 for cruise speed. I still use 9h30 as cruise setting with half closed rad and oil rad open at 10/20%. only.
