Well I did my testing of the new beta patch (third version). I brought the game back to last official update then installed the beta patch 3. Game started and ran with no problems.
Seems quite a bit smoother than last official patch (did not tried the last 2 beta patches) But still unplayable for me over london or large cities. I also did some low level flying in a quick mission (the free flight one in a hurricane over dover). Once I get too low in the congested area stutters make their way into the game in a very noticable fascion (which makes the game barely playable IMO) with a fps drop as well, Mirrors off.
Also concerning this little "trip", I had the chance to test the fact that we could switch aircrafts for quick mission, so I picked the spit IIa, and it worked, played around a bit with it then crash landed it in town (TOTALLY WANTED and not spin related of course

), then I went and exited the quick mission came back to main menu and retried the same mission with another plane... Only it would automatically switch back to the original hurricane planned for that specific mission. I tried again 3 times in a row to get back to another plane (when selecting the mission and even selecting the plane in "players plane" option) just before hitting the fly button, but without success. I eventually restarted the game, and that seemed to correct the issue.
So I say this without hate but
that issue which the beta patch was supposed to have fixed,
is NOT YET FIXED 100%.
This text above described my experience with the game in full screen mode. When I tried the pseudo mode to see if things where running better, I was surprised to see that in that mode, the game stutters regularily at very short intervals with lower fps (stutters every seconds no matter the altittude and location). So I thought to bring that up, maybe the devs will no what to do with that info.
Another point that I would like to bring up: I recorded a couple tracks to see if they worked... After viewing the first one, I pressed exit to go to another track, but screen went black when I clicked play (first picked the track, opened it, went to the window alright, pressed play there then black screen), game crashed I had to alt tab it after which a window poped letting me know launcher.exe had crashed and letting me close it. A good thing that I did noticed with that crash is that my desktop resolution stayed the same instead of switching to the game's resolution like it would with previous patch xD!
Final point to bring up. Some of you guys seem to have softwares that allow you to see if your CPU/GPU are being used properly. Could those specific people point me to the name of such software so I can bring better and stronger feedback? I would really appriciate it

Because when I have the task manager opened while playing the game for a couple minutes then switch back to windows to see how the CPU is being used, to my surprised it seems to be only running on a frightening 25-35% !!!!!!!! That can't possibly be right?! I would really need another software to double check that figure!
My spec:
CPU: intel mobile core 2 quad @ 2Ghz
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTX
HDD: A half empty SSD C drive with the game on it and well defragmented.
Win 7 pro 64bit
