Robtek, I love John Wayne. I love airplanes. But Jet Pilot is maybe the worst John Wayne movie ever! lol. The gal was a babe though

Flying Leathernecks is a pretty good Wayne airplane movie. Also Flying Tigers. Both full of Hollywood but good.
Here's one I can't place:
Can't think of the name....Korean war movie. Mickey Rooney, William Holden. Holden has a fuel leak after an attack run and is trying to make it back to the coast. Rooney flies a helicopter in to save Holden in the end and they end up trying to escape the NK's through a series of ditches. Anyone?
Dang....now I just need to convince my wife to watch a few flying flicks this weekend.
