Well, Russia actually did use more Spitfires around Archangel etc. while guarding your supply ships to the Soviet Union; but you guys did fly your Hurricat's off some of the guarding ships to aid your supply convoys, but in combat the Spitfire was the main Soviet/British plane used on the Eastern Front.
Sorry Foz, the Hurricane just didn't have what it took.
Now the Yak-3 had what it took twice over.
