I pray to god that QA departements don't think the same, because this is quite wrong. If
any aspect of the code changes you need to test the
entire thing again. There's a multitude of reasons for why a code change to do with one aspect can cause problems in totally seemingly unrelated areas.
I think the CoD patches are fast tracked because Activision have a lot of eggs in the CoD basket and a lot of financial clout. They need CoD to succeed, especially after their CEO's flagrant disregard for his customers. Also, Sony has to accept partial responsibility for green lighting such an obviously buggy patch in the first place.
BoP has never been as broken as CoD is right now.
