Check your airspeed. Dont forget to use your flaps. I basically kill my engine power (or throttle down as much as possible) and let the plane land itself.

+1

Keep her low and slow and she'll put her feet down. I normally touch down around 70mph.

Keep your nose up too.

First lower them to combat and let them drain your airspeed, at about 230Km/h lower your gear and set your flaps to landing. Keeping your wings level plan to have your wheels kiss the ground at about about 160 Km/h. Remember to use slight adjustments with your throttle to stop your plane from stalling.

Speeds are estimates but as long as you set down gently and keep your wings level you should have many happy landings:grin:

urrrrr i know it sounds nooby - but how do you use your flaps??

Riceball 08-23-2009 12:55 PM

Realistic mode does not have a flap function.

They are automatic. Just keep your speed low, nose up, and throttle all the way back once you touch down.
