Gamerpic and Theme thoughts?
 

Hey guys. Anybody have opinions on the gamerpics and themes that were released on the XBL Marketplace? I'd love to get some but seeing as they don't show you what they are, I don't want to get burned if they're not worth it...

Anybody have a favourite picture pacK?

I only got both of the themes and they both look amazing. I just wish it was all full screen on the dashboard.

I gambled on picture pack 3 hoping for some zerstorer action and got mostly national emblems - british roundel, soviet star and US star & bar (all quite nicely done). Picture of a pilot and another of a Spitfire. Worth the investment if you're feeling nationalistic! Might have to wait for picture pack 10 for the NZ roundel!
Anyone know if any of the picture packs have any unit emblems?

It's really annoying that we can't see a preview of what we are buying. I too bought Picture Pack 3, hoping for some aircraft and was disappointed to find it was mostly national emblems. I won't be using any of them.

Could posters possibly post the contents of each picture pack please....if you could spare the time it would spread the love....shmmmmeeeeeeh:grin:

I just switched from the F 22 Air Force theme to the Return to Castle Wolfenstein theme because Wolfenstein has real swastikas plastered all over the place.:eek:

Yeah, that would be great! Although from the sounds of it, nobody around here bought the first two packs...

Pack 1 has some planes, and head, pack 2 are all heads of pilots.

I found a video online of the Plane theme (unimpressed) but does anyone have a photo or video of the other theme?

I didn't like the themes, but I bought Pic Pack 1, and it's ok. I wanted the British and American Symbols, but instead I got some Soviet and Axis symbols and planes, a couple of pilot headshots too. I need to get some more MS points to buy pack 3...
