Well I haven't got my stick yet but I've probably managed about 20 landings.....mostly just in random fields and a few times on the icey lake on the second level....all on sim.

Hold back on the right stick brakes down to 0 MPH fast :)

I've made several successful attempts at landing. 12 in random fields (2 of them belly landing) and like 8 more on the airfield, and there about.

And I think my best score is the "Red Skies of Dover". I've gotten like 3000+ and on the "Tiger Hunt" I've got like 2000+. But only because I've been playing the Demo almost every waking hour I have, trying to get a higher score, and just get way good at the controls. Which I think I've accomplished?

On the Dover mission I got something like 4800, ...I think that's about tops for the demo.
On Tiger Hunt I get about 2800 and that's about tops on that mission unless they give more points for finishing faster.
Maximum altitude for the Spitfire so far is about 30,000 ft. and the Mustang I got up to 39,000 or so.
Bringing down the Mustang from that height in a power dive I noticed that the air speed meter stops registering at 600 mph, ...it just goes blank.
I'm using the Ace Edge flightstick and noticed that the Spitfire has a bit of a dead zone, not bad but noticeable. However, when compared to the Mustang I can tell that the P 51 is much tighter with only a small amount dead zone.
With the Mustang when trying to draw a bead on a FW 190 I would generate PIOs until I turned down the elevator and aileron sensitivity by about a third and viola! ...almost no more PIO.
