Can you switch difficulty Mid-Campaign?
 

I went into profile options and changed back to Normal from Easy. But when I load the game it still says easy mode (I can tell because there's no airstrike in Sevastopol)

In easy mode there are still air strikes.

Not in my game..Must be a bug

If not mistaken, you can't do that.

You can with editing code in your profile folder. Dig around, pretty easy to find.

I'll try that...Nothing is in the Aspyr folder other than the run application...Where are the configuration, save files etc?

The answer is YES! Just change your profile to level Normal difficulty. Reload your last savegame during the previous mission, complete that mission and after that you're at Normal.
