Wrong disc inserted after patch 1.7
 

Ok, not sure if anyone else is tired of this, but another game doesn't work yet again because of %$***%$ Securom. Right now, there are any number of guys who torrented this game and are unethically enjoying it without having to worry about this B$. Meanwhile, us paying customers get treated like criminals, and pay good money to get the following prompt that won't go away:

Wrong disc inserted.
Please insert the original "Kings Bounty" CD/DVD.
Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=wrongdisc for further, more detailed information.

I have the real stupid disc inserted. I have done the eject and reinsert method a dozen times. 1C, are you listening? We are not amused. Why do you insist on making excellent arguments for the pirates?

Ah, got it. 1.7 is for the English, French, German and Spanish multilanguage version, and I have the US version. So, I have officially hosed my install.

News flash...
PEOPLE SPEAK ENGLISH (and Spanish) IN THE US!!!

Perhaps a little clarification on which type of English speaking country gets a patch would be helpful in the future. Or, (here's an idea) how about a patcher program that actually detects the installed version, so you don't screw up your install.
