i want to make an extra weapon and report a bug

First of all want to make the ns-45 selection for the yak9ut and then send it to TD.
Can someone help me into this i don't know what properties i have to write where to save the model and how to make add this option in game.

The bug is on the P-39 when the engine is on fire the pilot gets hit something that shouldn't happen acording to the cutaways and wikipedia

I'm hoping that TD will take a long, hard look at the P-39 and P-400 and make fixes for a future patch. The P-39 series has a LOT of DM bugs related to not properly modeling armor plate between the various sections of the airplane. You seem to have found one that I missed!

Of course, even with a firewall between the pilot and the engine, if there's enough heat the pilot will eventually get roasted, but it shouldn't happen as quickly as it does in the game.

yes actualy p-39 and p-400 are the bug-kings in the game.TD must remake those things from scratch, except the model which is fine.

On the subject of P-39s, I'd really like to see the Russian reticule replaced with a more suitable US one, and maybe even a P-39L that could sling the triple tube rocket launchers, because let's face it, rockets are fun :P

Rocket loadouts for Soviet and U.S. rockets would be welcome.

I wonder if it is possible for the sight reticule to change based on which map or nationality you choose, like a default skin. That way, if you choose USAAF or a Western Front/Pacific map, you automatically get the U.S. reticule and if you choose USSR or an East Front map you get Soviet.

The question is, how often was the gunsight replaced with Russian ones? I'm sure it would have been done on a field mod level as necessary repairs if the original was out of service, but wouldn't they have just kept the US ones until they broke? Either way, it's probably possible to have the gunsight change based on nationality selected.

Good points all around. I do wonder how often it would have a Russian sight and if an American sight would be the better choice from a historical perspective.

While we're on about the P-39... it would really benefit from having a skin upgrade too I think. Especially to accommodate the different theaters and markings it would wear. The later P-39N and Q models did see a little use with the USAAF in the Med and elsewhere and it would be nice to have default "stars and bars" markings.
