I thought realism and authenticity were high on the agenda, obviously not!!!!

Ummm, this is ground that has been covered so many times before.

Its a legal requirement in some countries.

It's just not realistic without those swastikas? The ones you weren't there to see when it was real?
How about it's just not real if you don't actually get killed or kill anyone?

There's usually a work around available after release of the software at the user end just not at the distributors side, they need to release it without to cover themselves.
