Midi controller used as a second joystick
Hi all,
I had this USB midi controller that I wanted to use for a long time. http://imgur.com/dnNtzhh As you can see there's a lot of knob, buttons and sliders which is pretty convenient. I finally achieved it using using hte info that is in this thread: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=22463 I think it's a good alternative to an expensive usb controller like the saitek trim wheel. The controls are really precise and it totally changed my flight experience, mainly for trimming. I use it with my left hand and set up the gas/radiator/mixture/propeller/trims on it. It's easy to find these kind of midi controllers for realy cheap on ebay, for example 25$: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/M-Audio-X-Ses...#ht_500wt_1414 Of course there's quite of a setup to do but I'm really satisfied with it now it's done. If anybody has question about it feel free to ask. v. |
