G940 view hat config issue

I have just started to use my G940 after it gathering dust for some time.
I'm struggling to understand how to configure it. I can't even get the hat control to scroll the view like I had in my MS side winder. At the moment I'm stuck using the key board to change view. :( Can someone tell me how to get it working?

Doesn't anyone know about this issue at all? Is a config. that needs to be setup?
