Heinkel He111-P2 G1+HP [W.Nr 1992] 6./KG55

G1+HP [W.Nr 1992] 6./KG55 was based at Villacoublay from 23rd June 1940
to 1st August 1940 then transferred to Chartres until 18 June 1941.
It was involved in many raids on Britain and this particular aircraft was often Piloted by Gerhard Pulver.
At some stage during its time with 6./KG55 two distinctive charicatures were hand painted either side of the Rudder.
Revell the Modelmakers have produced a model of W.Nr 1992 BUT this Aircraft is 1G+ES of KG27 and it has retained the two distinctive charicatures.
Its beleived the aircraft was transfered to KG27 later in the war though I cant find any pictures of it.

This G1+HP WNr.1992 was shot down, crashed and burned May 13 1940.
Personal drawing with chalk on the Rudder, then it was already washed away.
On August 16, 1940 was shot down another G1+HP
