Projectile path under gravity & air resistance SOLVED
The problem of calculating exactly the path of a projectile under gravity and subject to air resistance has stumped mathematitions for over 300 years. Working on a school project, Shouryya Ray has solved this problem,
first posed by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century. Read more: http://www.news.com.au/technology/ge...#ixzz1w3LqwHp3 Also: http://www.myfoxhouston.com/story/18...r-isaac-newton |
This ones gonna make raaaid feel sick......

oh come on i want to see the solution
actually i think it makes no difference the projectile is flat flying horizontally or cylindrical in what sustentation refers :) edit: hey we should start nagging so clod includes this algorithm ;) edit: and how do you know it makes me sick i dont even know myself why it makes me sick maybe if it was a way to make petrol from stones it wouldnt edit: what i cant figure out its why it was imposible to solve you apply parabolic shot and air friction=k*h*v where k depends on the shape of the object and h on the air viscosity, you also take into account buoyancy (edit: you should apply also a dynamic sustentation factor ) you know the media is a bunch of lies some months ago i heard that a guy had climbed the everest in winter like in 2011 for the 1st time ever, probably this was an exception and be truth this proves that news are made up by several guys i a room making storm of ideas edit: the irony of this new is that the objective of the creation of science was to calculate the path of projectiles and how to aim them so a 16 years old has fullfilled the initial objective of science and my dads solves fermats theorem with fermats maths and is mostly ignored |
