Little help with hat/control issue
 

Hi guys, just installed the sim. Enjoying it except for this annoying issue where it seems like every other button (joystick and keyboard and mouse) is causing the view to do the 'lean to left' thing. What am I missing? It's the only thing stopping me from enjoying the game at the moment.

I also seem to have no panning with the mouse in external...

any thoughts please?

edit - update

having all sorts of issues, all due to this 'lean left' thing. seems to happen every two seconds and i have to keep pressing reset view. It seems to happen whenever ground control speak to me as well!!! wtf?

Is it possible that newview is interfering? I still use newview for il2 46.

I've now sorted the issue by deleting all pan and snap view buttons. Newview seems to have decided it will run in CloD as well as '46.

Now, if anybody with experience of newview in clod can help, it seems to only rotate my view to the edge of my seat, like in il2 46. Is there a way to get it to pan around the back of the seat like you can with the mouse?

When in externals, you can push and hold your middle mouse button and move mouse to look around.

I have newview working in CloD now. Only problem is the rear PoV is limited to the old '46 restrictions.

I seem to be using Newview V.29. I've downloaded a newer version (the download is actually called bob-nv) but it's all in russian so no idea how to install it, but im guessing that will be much more compatible with the sim.

F10 - mouse pointer on/off

F10 mouse on
mouse movement - moves pointer
middle mouse + mouse movement - toggle freelook
middle mouse + right mouse + mouse movement horizontal - leans to sides
middle mouse + right mouse + mouse movement vertical - zooms in/out

F10 mouse off
mouse movement - freelook
right mouse + mouse movement horizontal - leans to sides
right mouse + mouse movement vertical - zooms in/out

(hence holding middle mouse with 'pointer on' acts as an instant 'mouse pointer' toggle - very simple in practice, works with inside & outside views)

5 - center view
/ - reset views (useful to reset the center after leaning or zooming)
