Noob with question about Me109's

I just got this game set up, and it is great. However, with the Me-109, I can't seem to get the gunsight reticle to appear...it is off to the side. How do you aim it?

Welcome

Don't worry, its probably the oldest question in the IL2 series.

Shift+F1 is the default gun sight view as it works to shift the pilot forwards on other aircraft also.

If you have anymore questions pop back here.

The epic question once again.

Try the magic button combination: Shift+F1.

Just remember when you return to base and go in to land to hit shift F1 again to get rid of the gunsight.

Whilst you can land a 109 in the off centre gunsight view its far easier to learn how to land in the normal view that has you central in the airplane.

If memory serves, this mode is also retained between flights if not turned off. I seem to recall doing multiple quick missions in a row and forgetting to turn off gunsight mode, and not realizing it until I notice that I can't read the lower row of instruments in the cockpit. So don't forget to switch it off between missions.

The classic answer would be Ctrl+E;)

LOL, or Alt+F4! These jokes on the noobs are as old as flight sims. I remember having it done to me on Air Warrior well over 10 years ago. Only happened once, but then I had to spread the love around a bit :D
