Starting the Tiger Moth
 

I must be missing something...How the *&($ do you start the Tiger Moth???

I can get it to turn over but it will not start. I can start and fly every other plane just fine. CEM is on.

Hi. 9-10% mixture, 10-15% throttle. Change the engine info window to digital, if you can't set these low values. And one more comment: Tiger Moth have very long warm up time - similar with other RAF types.

Fuel on?
Mixture Rich?

Magnetos?fuel cocks?

Probably you did not find the Magnetos to turn them on?
they are outside the cockpit on the left side... with TrackIR and 6DOF you can move your head to the left and can see a switch...

Thanks all. I got it going. I was reading the mixture upside down (90% vs. 10%).

Oil temp doesn't seem to move though.

Magnetos switch are only cosmetic, no need to turn the ON to start engines.

The "I" turn then automatically.
