Crash at entering the demon himself in Shaterra
I cannot finish my Crossworlds, impossible, warrior game due to a crash when loading after entering "the demon himself".
Links: Save game (just go to Sheterra and try entering) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8523102/orcs_Trex.sav Dxdiag http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8523102/DxDiag.txt Logfile from game crash http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8523102/message.log I have an Asus G73JW Laptop and have the latest drivers at their support site. |
I'll take a look later tonight if no one beats me to it.

I was able to enter and fight Sanman fine, here's the save after entering, but before fighting him.

Thanks for the effort. I get a crash while loading your savegame. That means I have a problem locally with my installed game and its not the savegame. Hmm... will try a full reinstall, and just save my savegamefiles.

Let us know how it goes, if that doesn't work I can always do the fight for you and save again after leaving. I did actually give it a try but lost loads of troops and the combat ended before the Paladin could heal everyone. I'm not used to playing on impossible! (and I've never used Lizards either)

I will let you know. For most of the game I used Droids, Engineer, Runemage and Giant. I got a bit tired of the game and tested Elfs and Lizards a bit. I have a savegame before my experiments I believe. There I have the old setup army.
This will be my first finish on Impossible if I can make it. I play with minimal reloads (that is that I reload only if I misclick, I get attacked by something impossible at the moment I enter a map or something like that). I also might reload bosses. This makes mistakes costly and I often have to start at the beginning of the game again. Thats the way I like it. I have already restarted as Mage (the savegame in this post is Warrior) on Impossible. It was easier during the first battles, but after about 30 battles, I feel its getting more difficult than Warrior. |
A full reinstall of Armored Princess and Crossworld did the trick. GREAT :) Thanks again for the help!

Ah good news, glad to hear it. :)
