Windows 10 installation
 

I'm trying to install IL2 1946 with the original disk.I use the a.exe path,but when it goes to 21%,the install freezes,and can't install the game.Are there any other threads on installing with Windows 10 out there?Thanks.

A fast solution that I found.

Click on "cancel" and when it say "are you sure..." you click "no" and it will continue installation.

EDIT : I tried a second installation, but this trick didn't work... Needed to wait 30 minutes before it continue installation :)

It seem that in the futur I will make a new DVD with a new custom installer to install Il2 1946. Sad to see that we have some problems with this game installing on W10. My only solution for now is copy and paste the game from my old computer to the new one. Wish we could get a new DVD release...

Easier answer, stick to Windows 7.

I finally installed a second time and for some reason it's the same as before. It launch and crash right after.

Maybe an error when installing the patch?
I created my own megapatch the other day, so maybe I missed something? Will try to install all patch individually and see.

I found my problem. The game didn't launch because I missed 4.13.1...

I'm trying to install my original discs setup for IL2 1946. Is it the same problem with 8.1 as it is with Windows 10? Just need to find the keycode before I try the install.

I don't want Steam involved with this install.
