Playing MoW on a Laptop...Camera Control Issue
I was watching my friend play his recently bought MoW: AS and I was mesmerized by the sheer detail, the physics, and by god, the unit control. I want this game.
Problem is, I can't seem to work around the camera. We both have laptops so he uses modified key bindings to play with the camera... When we took turns playing, I found it very hard and awkward to rotate the the camera with the keyboard. Is there anyway to allocate the mouse to rotating the camera and stuff like that? This game blows and I mean BLOWS Company of Heroes out of the water -- But I've really gotten use to the configurations of COH's camera. Is there anyway I can bind my keys to make it function as it would in the mentioned title? Thank you. I'm looking forward to playing this game. I have it with me right now, as my friend was generous enough to lend it to me for the weekend. |
Hold down middle mouse button and move it around. External mouse ...
If you dont use external mouse then you need to find out which button on your laptop is assigned to middle mouse button. Maybe google it. And yes this game is great, just wait till you see the multiplayer action, so much fun mate :) |
I just happened to write quick advice on it:
http://www.digitalmindsoft.eu/forums...p?f=148&t=9835 Basically, what you need to do to play the game is to be able to zoom in and out and rotate the camera, all of these you can do with a mouse if you customize it. Normally, you would press 1 and 2 on the numerical keypad at the start of the game to get a nice camera angle and then you just need to use zoom and rotate to play the game. Hopes that helps. And yes this game is worth buying. But just be patient, be social and don’t be shy about asking for help. There are many guys interested in mentoring in the lobby. Just type in the chat: “Hi, I am new, anyone willing to show me how to play the game.” P.s. Play the demo fist to make sure you won't have major technical issues like crashes or freezes. |
