Browse speed bar
Hi I'm just starting with the clod, and I want to configure the simulator to see on-screen speed, heading and altitude, permanently, and IL 2 (speed bar) but I can not do it. Any help? Thank you very much and do not know if this is the right place for this question.

I'm not sure that you can have all of that...in my opinion you would develop a bad habit too. Its best to use your gauges, and often :)

Very true, just wondering because I saw some videos on the tube where these indicators appeared
Greetings. |
What you saw probably were the engine-settings. You can display that trough the info-windows.
See here: http://www.theairtacticalassaultgrou...d=info_windows Speed, Heading and Altitude can only be read from the instruments. |

You need look at instruments. :) Use the command "Glance at dasboard" - look in Controls >View and assign a key/button. And, since "dev's" forget a command for "Glance a Spit/Hurri Compass" this is awkward, is need: Press and hold Middle and Right mouse buttons, move mouse until camera POV change for compass. http://i41.tinypic.com/2qatpmw.jpg Workaround with JoyToKey: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpos...21&postcount=7 Alternative, use the Virtual Cockpit (offline/online) - need a dual output VGA and a second monitor, or a Tablet/iPad. http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.co...?t=3887&page=2 Work like a charm. ;) (1) For offline only you can use "Frogbar" - a workround with script that show "digital" info on "Info Window", and need be save with name of every mission, what complicates if the mission already have associated script... http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=24766 Sokol1 |
This is a screenshot shown to us as one of the first Work-In-Progress updates before the initial release of the game.
I'm not sure how you get those gauges to show, but it should be possible. They only show in the cockpit-off mode though I believe, unfortunately, for us who find it hard to read the gauges. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...4.jpg~original The screenshot is taken from the link under my signature picture (collected WIPs) . |
The above picture is the traditional "WWW" (Wonder Woman View) of il-2 series. :)
Is available in CloD, default keys is Ctrl+F1. In Options > "Realism"> uncheck "Cockpit Always On". Sokol1 |
