Well, since they are lowering the requirements for unlocking planes by 5, will the kills you already have count towards unlocking the planes?

For example, say I have 20 kills wth spitfires, when the patch comes out, will I now have the Spit XVI unlocked, or will I have to get 20 more kills? thx in advance.

the progress towards unlocking does not get set back to 0.
In your example, you will have unlocked the spit XVI, after you won killed 1 more plane with a spit.

this is what a dev said:
No, counters will not be reseted, but you have to get one more win/kill to achieve unlock.
(If you have 45 wins with a bomber, unlock the b-17 would be yours if you get the 46th win after title update)

o ok, thx. and wow, they didn't really lower the b-17 unlock eh? lol, but I guess it's a good thing.

well... no :P.. the B-17 is still a hard unlock. Because the devs wanted that one be be a real achievement. I think they lowered it to 'win 40 games on any bomber on strike'
