Has anyones order changed from the status of 'awaiting stock pick'? Mines been like that for 2 days, and its still like that now :(

Aye same.. a liitle dissapointing as a mate got his copy of batman from zavvi a day early last week. Just hope they actually do dispatch it today, to arrive tomorrrow.


edit: Just checked and it's now updated to 'Awaiting Despatch', so hopefully it'll be on its way tonight.

It's the same company as Sendit.com. My status had been saying the exact same thing until I cancelled my order this morning and re-ordered from Shopto.

Still waiting, although I threw a childish, sulky tantrum when I realised it wasn't coming on Friday and bought a copy from Blockbusters. A mate is after it too though so I won't need to send the Zavvi one back.

No Joy here... although I'm at work so it may have turned up. Then again, if nobody else's has arrived, i'm doubting mine will have, so its off to Blockbuster later I reckon.

same, but just a thought, if its been dispatched, will the postal strike affect it?

I spoke to my postie this morning and asked him about strikes. He said that there wasn't one in my area although other areas near me may be affected. I think I remember him saying there is a ballot on the 8th or 9th, and then dependant on that, a possible strike on the 21st which I am assuming will be nationwide.

My friend who had his copy of batman shipped to him a day before release last week from zavvi, is also still waiting for his copy of il-2.

My copy was shipped by Game on Wednesday last week I should have recieved it on the Thursday but my Postie decided to have a long weekend (strike). By the time the mail catches up I think it may be this wednesday before I recieve it.

So I decided to bite the bullet and bought a copy from my local Game saving me a fiver in the process when I ship the original copy I pre-ordered back to Game:cool:

Im not pre ordering games from zavvi again thats for sure.

Same NEVER NEVER again. Should have stuck with GAME.

But Game charge £10 more than anyone else and give the worst trade in prices, they are a bit of a rip off. I pre-order my games from Blockbuster, they are always the cheapest and they give the best price for trade ins and I get them on release day no problems. I'd never use Game.

Still nothing here either, terrible service from zavvi, the first and last time I use them.

And a pox on the Royal Mail shirkers who have added to the delay, if you don't like your job then there are plenty who are willing to take over.

Bought my copy from Morrisons yesterday (£37 :( ). Just couldn't be arsed with waiting any more, and have decided that Zavvi do not deserve my hard earned cash.
Once my copy from Zavvi arrives (And sod's law being what it is, that will be today :roll:) I'm going to have to go through the process of getting a refund from them... and judging by their customer service so far, I'm thinking that I may be in for a bit of hassle.

Oh what a suprise nothing's arrived this morning either.

So they didn't even send it by 2nd class post, so just what exactly have they used?

My original pre-order from game finally arrived today almost a week after it was posted to me. It will take time for the postal service to catch up because of the strikes so fingers crossed you should recieve your orders tomorrow. Can't believe Zavvi took so long to post thier orders though don't think i'll ever bother with them.

I hope my copy arrives tomorrow or i will be really peed off.

Well it's looking unlikely that I'll be getting my copy tomorrow, theres a 24 hour strike across London :/

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums here and you may see me around a bit.

Just to say, that I finally got my PS3 copy from Zavvi today (bloody took it's time).
It was posed 1st Class and took 6 days to travel 70 miles from Oxfordshire. This is defiantly the worst experience I've had with an online retailer but I will be using them again as their prices are very good (I got IL-2 for £25).

Anyway, I just thought I should let you know. And I hope the rest of you receive yours very soon.

Well, I guess the London postal strike was more Central London, as my postie delivered my copy from Zavvi this morning. It was posted 1st class too, hopefully the rest of you will be receiving yours today.

delivery in the UK from Zavvi seems p!ss poor considering you've got over 100 times the population density of Australia

To be fair, the only thing that annoyed me about zavvi was that they waited until release day (or the day after for some people) before they actually posted it, I think we will have to assume the delays are down to the postal strikes here and the backlog of mail.

FWIW I actually phoned them on Friday and they claimed that they had only just received their delivery late Thursday.

Got my copy today at last.

Zavvi order just arrived, precisely one week late.

As a side note, I also pre-ordered Dirt 2 from shopto, which was sent yesterday and came this morning, 1st class signed for.
