Just wondering what others think about the sounds in the game.

For one, I got sick of the music and turned it off.now the radio chatter is really getting annoying. I'm chasing a 109 getting hits on it and I can hear on of my friendlies yelling over and over "pull the trigger!".

I like to hear my engine and guns going off. I don't need music and useless chatter on the radio, that I can't even make out half the time.

You guys turn anything off?

The music's alright, though if you wanted to be totally realistic you would turn it off. The radio is kind of annoying, especially when they keep repeating the same thing, but I try to zone it out.

Overall I think I'll keep it on though, adds to the whole experience.:)

I turn the music off for more realism. I like the engine and gun sounds. Though regarding radio chatter, it repeats to much and i can hardly make it out, and the fact half of it is German chatter still bugs me. Takes away realism.

Personally I love the music, but don't care for the repetitive radio chatter. When I play the Soviet campaigns though I'm gonna turn off the game music and play a CD I have of old Soviet music performed by the Red Army Choir. It'll be epic!

Yeah the music is great, but I turn it off for more immersion.
I thought the radio chatter in BoP was quite good. Certainly better than PF. All I used to hear was "What the hell? Stay with your leader!" and "Red XXX, return to base" lol

I guess I should have fraised that differently.

I like the music, but during the missions, I don't like it.

Also if you have the radio turned off, you won't hear the narration of the story at the end of the missions. I guess ill continue with the radio for now.

Yeah the same old lines over and over drive me nuts plus I've turned the music off as well. I kinda was thinking it would be nice to have only the ingame music off, I would love to hear it while the in the lobby...

I too turn the music off, the loop gets really annoying.
I'd like the guns to be a bit louder, maybe separate adjustable sliders for the engine, guns, etc.

I turned off the music, but kept the radio on. Just for realistic affect.

This was why I in the pc game always turned off friendly radio and turned on hostile radio channel, more useful information there, who/what is out there, flight levels and so on.

I for one wish there was more variance in engine sound. But I love the music and the chatter.

Whenever I hear the radio chatter, it feels like you have a copilot thats trying to urge you on, also when you issue commands that voice sounds oddly familiar to the "Pull the trigger!" voice. Does that mean the pilot is talking to himself/player?!

And another thing, if you play the Soviet campaigns, would you be playing one of the female pilots and actually have a female voice? That would mix things up considering I've played masculine voiced games for the past couple months and I don't think I remember what a female sounds like in a game..

Love the sounds in this game. Best ever IMO. I always turn music off during flight but the menu music is excellent. Love the radio chatter and only want more variation and more of it. Planes sound FN amazing I just love it.

XBOX version only one I have tried though.
