Found two glitches
 

One is funny and the other might answer a few questions.

The funny one is if you bail out and pause, go to options and then hit apply, and then unpause, then camera won't zoom out when you crash which is cool.

The other one might explain why some of the AI is crashing.:(

When I playing the tutorial a couple minutes ago, I was practicing my landings at the airfield. I landed perfectly to have a loud explosion scare the sh*t out of me. I turned the camera to see it was the Hurricane of my instructor pilot, Tuck(FYI: Tuck follows you around during the tutorial). I assumed he got shot up somehow so I took off thinking nothing about it and when I bailed out and crashed the screen said, "Mission Failed. You Killed Tuck!"

I started the tutorial again and landed at the airfield, I looked up at Tuck, and he just plowed straight into the ground. Then, I crashed on purpose and was given the same message.

Apperently the AI tries to fly at the same altitude as you.

Hopefully they fix that. Although the first one isnt very bad.

I'm glad I found that glitch so I don't have to look at the camera anymore.

The only problem is that you can't move your camera anymore after you bail out.

the first 1 doesn't need any attention but the second 1 does it is like playing a car game and every1 else retires it just becomes boring.

Lol, this game i played (tiger hunt mission) spotted the first waves of planes passing me, i turn around they all dissapeard, one of my wingmans flys away and crashes.

Maybe everyone should fly at medium altitude and work your way down(in a dogfight) to avoid this problem.

That could work.

The germans always dive down though.

Whenever I'm chasing a 109 or a 190 they always take the dogfight to tree top level alot. No room for error!

Very much the wrong place to be in any plane, unless you're flying a Zero vs something like a Wildcat.

I did the camera glich, it was pretty fun. Kinda looked funny while I was in a spin though. Just looked like i was stalling in HAWX===>a really lame game

Hmm, treetop level dogfights are always more intense :)

In the P-51 mission I noticed this constantly.

I start to attack, they dive to tree level, and I just simply nose down into an intercept path. The enemy fighters, at least on that mission, seem incredibly predictable when you're behind them. Roll, dive, skim the trees, pull up and to the left/right and try out-turning, then accelerate for the sky in order to give the troops a fireworks display once you realise you're done for.

However I never did notice any of them just crash. If six fighters spawned and came at the squad, we'd all pass each other and there'd be six planes turning right around at me unless they got shot during the pass.

Yep. That is something we all need to consider when playing BoP. That even our friendly AI is capable of shooting down planes TOO:)! Not something that you see in console games.

I must say, some games its terrible, some games just normal.
All the germans i've seen crashing were on moments i was Alone.
Sometimes multiple germans at the same time, Bang Bang Bang.

But dont think its too much of an issiue.

Whenever I land at the airfield in the first mission right after it starts, several planes start crashing around me.

I bet you'll see at least one plane crash if you try. BUT it doesn't do it everytime.

This sometimes happens in the PC IL2.

Lieutenant: "What's the weather forecast for today, Cap?"

Captain: "90 percent chance of rain."

Lieutenant: "Really? The skies look clear to me."

Captain: "That's because it will be raining Messerschmitts, Lieutenant."

*grabs coat" :neutral:

They refuse to shoot down ground targets though, Bastards :cool:

Someone tried to drop an anvil on me last week and thank God I had my umbrella open.

Better bring one of those too.;)

Seriously, did I forget to mention the friendly AI does it too?

Found a neat bug.

Go to the lower left-hand corner on Britain and fly along the shore and there will a large drop in the terrain and you can fly under sea level next to the ocean. BUT you can't fly underwater or you explode.
