Well, I've been playing a 4 month old 360 Elite and it got RROD already. I'm so pissed I'm gonna sell it if it ever comes back from Microshit, so I guess I'll be on PS3 as well lol

Be Thankful Microshit has a great warrenty program. I got mine back in 5 days. I have been through 4 ps3's ! and went through 3 of those in under one month ! They all had drive falure. The first one I used Sony's warrenty and it took them over 3 months to get it back to me !! After that I went over to my EBgames and got their in house warrenty on my ps3. That way I just took my ps3 over there and replaced it.

Just some advise , if you get a ps3 make sure to get the in store warrenty, They break more then the 360's do.
In my experience so far both of these systems are not built to last !

Why should I be thankful? They shouldn't release such a faulty product to start with. Haven't seen my Xbox for 2 weeks. I've had a ps3 for a year and it runs like a dream. Sounds like you had real bad luck.

I agree they are both faulty products. Maybe you got lucky on the ps3, I'd say out of my ps3 friends list(40+) I'd say more then half have been through multible ps3s. Just like my firends list on the 360 is the same thing.
Its screwed up that products that costs that much money are that faulty.

As for "Thankful". I'm just saying It takes a minimum of 3 months to get your ps3 fixed under warrenty. You'll get your 360 back way faster then that.

I hope they get your system back to you soon. I say give them some Hell on the phone ! I know I sure did.

P.S. I'd love to see an F4U Corsair although I'm not sure they ever saw action in any of the games listed campaigns. (please don't slap me too hard if I'm wrong lol) Maybe I'll get lucky with DLC!
If we go to modern aircraft, then I always fly the Su-37, Su-33, or Su-35 (depends on the age of the game)

I think the aircraft are European theatre only, no carrier aircraft.

I'm not enough of a WW2 nut to have a favourite plane. I'm actually more of a pointy-nose simmer, but beggars certainly can't be choosers! :)

For the record, my PSN ID is “Mr_V”, and I'll be playing the game on both platforms.

A suggestion: I don't know about the rest of you, but I play online fairly often and I regularly get friend requests from people I don't know… most of which I ignore. So maybe it would be good if, whenever one of us send another person on this forum a friend request, we can accompany it with a message saying just something like "IL-2". (On PSN, you can attach a message directly to a friend request, but not on Live as far as I know.)
