Oddeball- The problem may be on my end.On the site I have copied the download address & tried to go there ( clicking on it does nothing for me :http://catsy.net/lal/Mod_LAL_Ext_V1.0.exe unfortunately,) but the download itself was blocked.? However when I used the download line in this post ,it was underlined & then when I tried it the download WORKED! This is a minor problem I'm sure.

We decided to make public the LAL Ext Mod V1.0 executable form for ease of installation.

This mod offers:
It paintSchemes the root of the game steam slightly revised and corrected.
For German-dirt, lines and structures Swastikas.
The dirt and English-lines structures.
=============================
Skins-all static English and German markings included.
-Some emblems and chevrons "German" scaled down in intensity colors (less flashy)
Letters and numbers, nationalities English and German revisited in color intensity (less flashy)
-Cockades Balkenkreuz, Hakenkreuz journals in color intensity (less flashy)

To install and run the exe seek the path of Cliffs: Sturmovik cliffs of dover Steam/SteamApps/common/il-2.
that's all!

It will create an icon on your desktop to launch your game modded.

Oddeball- did I read something somewhere about preventing these new markings being "over-printed" on non-static planes as well ? I do have that problem & can't remember how to prevent it. Any ideas?

Good advice & I did try it.I switched them off both in "Options" and before each flight,but they still showed up everywhere over-printing "stock" & squadron markings.Can furnish screenshots if so desired.A great mod , but I wonder if there is a conflict between it & the enable Hakenkruez mod at ATAG? Something is amiss on my machine.

Hello, once downloaded the link, installed the .exe towards Steam SteamApps common il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dovers. He will create an icon on your office "COD Mod LAL Ext ".
Launched the game.

Downloaded the file also however I also cannot get it work. I noticed that the file @Mod_LAL_EXT is loaded first in my cod il2 folder, is this correct? Also the Launcher.exe. config properites read "Laucher.exe.config" is this correct? Some how I think the "Laucher.exe" is not correct.

Make sure your install goes to Steam/Steamapps/common/cliffs of dover.Yes you will get a new icon, that at least on my desktop does not replace my older icon.My initial install has enabled Hakencruez mod downloaded into it,but am not sure that that is the case with this new static aircraft mod when I start with its icon. I am running into an ongoing problem even with "markings turned off" in all aircraft & that is that the static decals are being underprinted in all the aircraft including the static & the AI ( but not my own.) Heres the screenies of this issue:

Have tried the obvious solutions but found no solution so far.

I did do that, and checked my Steam SteamApps common il-2 sturmovik clifffs of dover and it's all there, but no icon on my desktop that is "COD Mod LAL Ext". :?: BTW thanks, am leaving in hour for a short holiday and will be back Sunday, maybe by that time there will be an answer.

Did you run the LAL_Mod alone or with an other mod ?

As I said I now have two different "start icons" on desktop.The old one with" Hakenkruez enabled" when played & this new one for LAL. I have disabled the Hakenkruez from its desktop utility & then tried the LAL start icon ,but alas there is no difference,I seem to get LAL markings on all aircraft except my own...what appears to be double swastikas as well.

If I hit the older original desktop icon I get swastikas on most planes ( always an issue here- not all German planes get new markings) but no LAL markings on Static or AI aircraft.

First disable Hakenkreuz mod
Then re-install the LAL mod.
After u can use each mod alone.

This would seem to make a lot of sense, but tried it twice & still get the extra markings problem esp on British planes .Perhaps if I could un-install LAL & reinstall it that might work,but have no idea on how to take it out.
Initially this brilliant mod worked with no problem,but after several different plays it started acting up.I first thought it was because somewhere I had put "markings on" but after making sure they were 'off ' on all aircraft,and trying again I got the same glitch.

Me too, i have the same problem with british markings. I think the problem is, when a server allows the MARKINGS ON.

I didnt run the exe file, i extracted them and installed it manually. So i can unistall it very simply.

The trouble is that you run missions made without the LAL_mod. Try to make a mission with your game with LAL_mod activated and I think there will be no trouble.

We'll try to remove this trouble in the next version of the mod.

I'll look forward to it! Really like this improvement.

Still having some problems with British roundels "underprinting" markings on AI Brit planes.I had hoped this new version would have eliminated that...

Can someone post a new link for MOD LAL EXT V1.2 please?
I spend an hour or more to find this usefull mod, but had no luck at all. All links I found where broken :(
