The ALL INVICIBLE army!
 

WOTN is really THE easiest of all KB games lol
with this creature setup your garantueed to get a no-loss EVERY battle
even vs bosses or enemy heroes they just don't stand a chance
in fact when u get this army you don't even need to use ANY spells or use runes(hero runes)

first of all

get repair droids split them into 2 stacks (prefer most left and right slot
then get guard droids prefer on the second left or second right
Rune mage in the middle
and Paladin next of that

Your rune mages will just use phantom on paladins and the paladins will second wind them then use the luck rune to get more runes for the rune mage and repeat

the repair droid will just shoot anything while the guard droid goes up front and soakes all the damage

GG no losses and easy win lol there is litterally nothing an enemy can do

your mass ressurection and repair will rape any army ANY army
i haven't found a single enemy that could last more than 10 rounds lol

and heck if you are really overwhelmed you can always use the astral beam of the rune mage and relax chill and feel your super domination and superriority!

the wasn't fun anymore with this army :P

that combination was already possible in AP, except for Runemages being more OP than ever.

Combining the imba of Armored Princess with the imba of Warriors of the North. Sheer genius! (or madness! :) )

What I did was split rune mage stack, horsemen, paladin. ;0

But later on I switched to rangers and elves. I'm going to devise group pretty soon. Looking at my old crossworlds posts... wow. There are definitely some strats that will not work as well here as in Armored Princess.

and in AP droid army wasn't so good vs bosses doable but more tedious

and with this it's just HOLY macaronni :P

50 might runes+100 rune mages is a SHITLOAD of damage to a boss xD

i gonna try that next killing a boss on turn 1 with rune mages astral damage lol:D

Basically you need high level range units + paladins. Spam paladins to heal everyone else and take the charge if some fast enemy unit can close your ranks (rune mages help with their phantom spell).
Although some fights against heroes or large dragon armies need careful calculation (like vs the orc shaman who casts Armageddon when his forces drop under some min strength)

Rune mages are basically a game exploit on their own. Take any other units + rune mages and the game is on easy mode.

well not with ANY units

runemage+paladin/demonlogist/inqisitor/warrior maiden/soothsayers is required for mass ressu

and if you think runemage+pala you cannot use level 5 units
and with the rest of the healers it takes a bit longer to resu all

and let's see how u win with rune mages with an army of

rune mage+peasants/skeletons/goblins/thorn warriors

beat the game that with no loss and i will be impressed xD

At least with CW rune mages you could only get infinite resurrection if there were enemy inquisitors. And they let you revive archdemons and black dragons...

With this setup I get no loss vs. impossible - and very easily - usually 2-3 rounds of combat - as a soothsayer.

Army:
runemages,
archmages,
soothsayers,
demonologist,
black dragon.

Strategy:
first round: summon phoenix spell, call lava golem from rage, and demonologist summon demon - put an entire summoned army on the enemy front.
then use my ranged units (All except of the dragons) to hit from a far - the demonologist use Resurrection if necessary - which is rare,
and area spells (fire rain) easily kills tons of enemies - especially since they're surrounding the summoned creatures.
the black dragon usually stays out of the fight, and mostly use it's special breath attack, or defend the ranged units if somehow an enemy got close.

You gave to be brainless to play with this army, considering how bugged it is. But on another hand, it's no wonder that you found it. :)

bugged army? you don't know what a bug is don't you? I know it's not your fault for what not knowing what it is.

And for your information i was just testing if this would be a super uper power army, and yes it was like i posted in main post you don't even have to invest in any skill. Making this the best army setup entire game there is no other army that can beat this, and if you can you need to have invested skills

Bug in game, and something imbalanced/overpowered aren`t same things, learn it if you want to post your pathetic thoughts anywhere public.

On topic, for beating this army setup, i dont have opposite, just tactic for it :-)
Sooth hero, 1 archdemon, invisibility and blast you with spells :-D

you will run out of mana and i can just infinite regenerate and ressurect;)

phantom either the paladin/repair droid then use rune mage ability to get more runes and redo:)

this army rocks :D
