S9+CB is an early D-0/B W.Nr. 3339 of Erprobungsgruppe 210 ditched on 15. August 1940 at Hooe, East Sussex.

It's a test/trial group.

those groups/commandos were used to test new weapons and tactics at the front. In this case Erp.Gr. 210 tested the Bf 110 as a fighter/bomber.

Desastersoft made a campaign in one of their Add-ons (Helmut Wick & J.C. Dundas) for CloD.

They were the ones who made the first strike on the English Home Chain stations (Dover, Rye, Pevensy and Dunkirk) which proved to the Luftwaffe that deep strikes in england were possible and the radar system could be "blinded" and that Adlertag could be launched. As someone mentioned before they were a specialist unit like Lehrgeschwader 2.

"Erprobungsgruppe" means testing or proving Gruppe.

They became another unit after the Batttle of Britian.
