Don't know why it's locking up, seems ok for me. :( Maybe try at lower res? |
Plays ok for me as well.

Brought a tear to my eye, Dutch! :)
It played fine and looked great on my iPad2 BTW. |

Well done Dutch.
I share the sentiment. |
Another great little production Dutch, love the music, which sadly seemed apt.
|
Hopefully a genious will be allowed to unlock these, maybe a modder? Need to fly the defiant and wellington, or feel the sugar coated rush of landing on the water in a prehistoric walrus aircraft..
|
P.S. I'd lay bets on the Dorniers being made flyable for BfM. The 109F will appear.
I just hope that of the two Russian fighters made available for BfM, one of the variants of them has vastly superior performance to the 109F. Naah, scratch that, no-one would be allowed to fly it. |

Quoted for truth. On this subject, I don't see how the developers would be able to get away with only 2 Russian fighters and have the sim be successful in their primary market. So I am hopeful that I will get my P40B or P40C (Tomahawk I~II). |

The problem will be the cockpits and crew stations. Like all the models in the new series, they are several orders of magnitude more complex than the ones in IL2/46. Frankly I don't think any of the modders that I know of have the skills to bang these out in less than a year, per aircraft. Look at the B24 that is being built by Monguse and Co. for 46. It has taken over a year and a half, at least, and it's interior spaces, while state of the art for IL2, are no where near what we have right now in CloD. The new sim brings a new paradigm, and we had all better get used to it, that is, fewer, but more highly detailed, aircraft. |
If there really are two soviet planes planned, I'm guessing MIG 3 and the IL2?
|

The IL2 will definately be there, and if I'm honest it'll be nice to get back in one. As to fighters, who knows? But if the I-16 is there I'll be happy. What am I saying?? I'm supposed to be upset at them dumping object development for 'Cliffs'!! |
Well, we know the La5, il2 are definately there from the images we have been shown...
We can expect mig 3, lagg 3, I 16, I 153, P-39 and P-40 for fighters and a smattering of various bombers... That's my guess for the reds. |
Quote:
'The design work required to adapt the LaGG-3 to the new engine and still maintain the aircraft's balance was undertaken by Lavochkin in a small hut beside an airfield over the winter of 1941-1942, all completely unofficially'. 'The Battle of Moscow (Битва под Москвой, Romanized: Bitva pod Moskvoy, German: Schlacht um Moskau) is the name given by Soviet historians to two periods of strategically significant fighting on a 600 km (370 mi) sector of the Eastern Front during World War II. It took place between October 1941 and January 1942' Both from wikipedia unfortunately. @Cheesehawk - you may be correct there mate, it wasn't flyable in 1946 either was it? |
Should not see the La5, P39 or FW 190 in this scenario.
The only US made aircraft would be Curtiss P40 B and C models. There should be Mig3s for the PVO. Yak 1s as well as the IL2 of course. And lots of Polikarpovs of all descriptions. |
Literally the way thinks are going Im only expecting one new flyable plane....
