Its a good looking plane, and 1c has now no excuse about being to far to colect sound samples

Labroisse 10-10-2011 06:06 PM

Love the pilot crossing himself before taking off. I think 1C should model that in the sim.

Jaws2002 10-10-2011 06:12 PM

Damn great job.

ATAG_Dutch 10-10-2011 06:13 PM

Beautiful aircraft !!!

P.S. The guys who scream "repost, repost" (1) will always make me laugh hard :grin:

(1) as, of course, everybody is supposed to monitor all the net day and night.

Sven 10-10-2011 06:28 PM

Mmmm I love the smell of crispy IL2

Bring on the eastern front! FW190 & F series FTW.

addman 10-10-2011 06:29 PM

Awesome! Seeing that IL-2 really makes me look forward to the upcoming -hopefully- eastern front expansion(?).

Flanker35M 10-10-2011 06:40 PM

S!

Great find. And I bet this plane is better built than the original plane ever was :) But great to see old legendary warbirds flying again :)

LcSummers 10-10-2011 06:43 PM

Great flying tank. Finally one of them is preserved and flies again!

Thanks for sharing.

Trooper117 10-10-2011 07:28 PM

My god.. didn't know they had this old bird flying, fantastic stuff!.. now all we need is a longer clip without that bleedin woman braying away in the background, and more of the actual aircraft.. lol

skouras 10-10-2011 07:43 PM

now that is a piece of art
classic....

Friendly_flyer 10-10-2011 08:19 PM

Wohooooo, a Sturmovik!

This always was my favourite plane from the old IL2, I really hope to see it some time in the new series!

Mad G 10-10-2011 08:55 PM

I don't doubt that at some stage we will see this old warhorse back in the game.. :)

Daniël 10-11-2011 05:44 PM

Is this the only flying Il-2 Sturmovik now, or are there more flying ones?
