Time for moscow time again - Luthier said patch might be released tonite.

I know I irritate some with these types of threads but that's half the fun. :-P

Anyhow, the beta was released 6 of September at 17:57 GMT.

In this thread Luthier said "...Timeline wise, what we’re looking at is a beta sound patch in a minimum of 2 weeks, and at least a week of tests for that...".

That means the official patch could be released tonight.

Now unleash the "where's the patch" hounds.

kristorf 09-13-2011 08:18 AM

Wotever........

Ze-Jamz 09-13-2011 08:19 AM

Rextar 09-13-2011 08:48 AM

Not this again....,,,

JG52Krupi 09-13-2011 09:08 AM

Patch will/should not be released there were a number of bugs and a lot of work in this patch it deserves at least another week of testing at least and ideally a v2 beta patch just to make sure everything is working.

Yup I fully agree Krupi. Another beta patch is easily needed as there are quite a few new bugs at the moment that I definately don't want to see progressing into the official retail version of the game.

+1

Sound bug galore and flying behind a bomber when escorting will take my 35Fps on max settings down to 10/12fps, didnt have these prior to Beta and still have gfx artefacts and all of the existing problems are still there.

Id say the official patch isn't anywhere near being released yet and I think it's fair to say introducing 2 bugs and fixing 1 thing isn't the way forward.

Remember were testing a Beta and we still slate it! we've given feedback an tested it for them so let them fix it ad release a stable patch that will help with future sales

baronWastelan 09-13-2011 11:07 AM

I suspect they put a lot of "bugs" in the beta patch on purpose just to see what users cry about the loudest, and as a diversion from the things that are really broken that they haven't clue as how to fix yet.

JG52Krupi 09-13-2011 11:12 AM

And I suspect that in your free time you are locked in a maximum security padded cell.... WTF

Well judging from your last few threads Vengeanze I would say you have a terrible sense of humour, actually makes me glad that I didn't see anything funny in barons post :P

You post cr@p like this, trying to make a personal attack on me when I never wrote a single word about you, then complain about somebody's "sense of humour"?

Well clearly your post was meant to antagonise and if it was supposed to be a "joke" then I recommend you put add a smiley ;)

I think we are all more or less happy with the beta patch. No stress for the devs to bring out the final version today. I prefer good work even if it lasts for another week.

Rextar 09-13-2011 04:54 PM

I agree ko just let them work and stop pestering them!!

You bolded the wrong part mate, the proper point of emphasis for Luthier's quote would be:
"...Timeline wise, what we’re looking at is a beta sound patch in a minimum of 2 weeks, and at least a week of tests for that...".

;)

skouras 09-13-2011 08:44 PM

there not release a patch
that's good for me
they are working for better things and improve the things:-)

PissyChrissy 09-13-2011 09:34 PM

I'm certainly not holding my breath for this one. I'm more interested in completeness than expedience.

Haha yeah did you know when ever someone posts here a huge klaxon goes off in the 1C office and the Dev team are magnetically pulled beyond their control and forced to leave the work they are doing, and their eyeballs drawn by some unseen force as they are forced to read.....if you listen you can hear their tormented screams...

Plonker
