Looking great! It's a shame that the weathering is a little heavy to start with which is hard to fix. You've been doing a great job though!

Plt Off JRB Meaker 06-06-2011 09:04 PM

Nice skin for starters Chris, thanks, but I know you've got more up ya sleeve;)

The Bob Tuck skin is a beauty mate,I love the weathering the old Spit's and Hurri's have, look in any old BOB book and you'll see this is how they were.Partly because pilots obviously had to clamber aboard in a hurry,so around the cockpit/wing area they were really roughed up,many down to bare metal.

Top notch skins boys, keep em coming,I look forward to coming on here every night just to grab the latest skins.

Very happy to see that Spit Skins can be created with historically correct horizontally aligned Sqdn ID Letters when warranted, as well as the 'default' Staggered letters which was all that was ever shown in the SOW:BOB updates and as far as I could see all were staggered in the videos made from COD after its release, both in Oleg trailers and Community videos.

Last one for a while,

Hurricane MkI P6684/RF-F 303 (Polish) Sqn, Northolt, Sept 1940
The 126 on the side was the final 'score' for 303 during the campaign period, although by Oct the score had gone to 140.
Post war re-checking however dropped the tally by 44 due to 'overclaims'

Hi Chris
Awsome skins as we have all come to expect
You keep setting the Bar higher[Damn You]
Re: Chipping..
I really like the Hardcoded Internals and Lines
Much more user Freindly BUT currently not working properly for Me
as they are appearing Pre-Weathered by Default for some reason and I cant
change.
I noticed that on Your Spitfire Skins posted in the first few pages here, that
the lines are clear BUT this one is Weathered by Default.
Could this be due to Auto Updating [Steam] ?
I even Patched Manually to Beta Patch
to see if this would Cure, but no Joy:rolleyes:
Any Suggestions would be very much Appreciated.
Regards
Keith:grin:

No Trooper i was in 2 and i left in 2000 after 8 yrs service, but The old boy is right,we do fly together in Tangmere Pilots, and what a fine band of men they are too(with some absolutely stonking campaign missions).
And what would anyone say who had the honour of wearing the Maroon Beret say,who is a crap hat? anyone who couldnt make the grade. But i dont genuinly lower myself to that sort of inter service rivalry, apart from anyone who rode about on horses looking good for the Queen,a Kris.

Hi Chris,

Any chance of generic skins for spit like you've done with hurri and beau?

Hope you and family are well.

Great work as always.
