if this has been posted before sorry just wondering has anyone figured out how the leaderboadrs work the last few weeks i have been playing arcade and got up to 5th i seriously do nothing but win and some how my rank goes down i spanked the #3 guy so bad today he quit but i keep falling lol i guess it dont really matter since anyone who plays this regularly knows my name just wondering

Mav the leaderboard is up there with the rubic cube and reality tv shows in things I will never understand. It's some russian logic that was coded in an insane asylum from what I can see

Mav, that's because you use force fields on your planes, so you get marked down for that, lmao!

Mav simply just looking at the Leaderboards will result in an automatic 42 place drop in your ranking. But thats not all my friend. That night after you go to bed, around 2.12am you will awake to see three grey aliens standing at the foot of your bed who have been sent to warn you of the dangers of viewing the Leaderboards. They will be send by the men in the white coats. Thats how crazy the leaderboards are so best advised to steer clear !

last i checked i was 5th on arcade and 3rd on realistic i havnt checked realistic in a while so probably not that high anymore. are you on it?;)

The trick to stay on top is not to play at all :)

I had not played in about 3 months and I was surprised to find myself in 1st place lol

i was board and trying to figure out a way to make a better leaderboard based on verifiable info so i was thinking how about a kills per game ratio anyone think this is a good idea? i especialy like this idea cuase after calculating the top 12 guys kills per game ratio in realistic dogfight mine is the highest at 14.16:grin:

When you have a decent wingman or maybe two wingmen, in a large (10 to 12 player) dogfight getting beyond 14 kills is pretty easy. Not of course that that is fair on everyone else in said dogfight.

Yeah I been getting about 28 kills the 14 is a average over 167 games if your trying to say I am only good cause I fly with pappy often I'll be happy to play anyone 1v1

just had a awesome 1v1 arcade with dkwookie i managed a 8-2 victory dk your a great player i look forward to many more battles in the future

Its quite funny really when you think the PS3 has a broken Leaderboard that everybody uses, While the 360 has a perfectly working leaderboard that nobody uses because player matches are far more convieniant with the ability to join friends game or invite to game.

i would love player matches on ps3, it is really is strange that we got the patch but it never fixed the issue of player matches on the ps3 or even touched the leaderboard.
My own take on the leaderboard is ignore it and those who give it too much creedance you'll have a better time

I agree with Ruffmonk, i saw about 4 days ago M&G have 13 kills in under 1 minute, Don't know how that is possible but i saw it. I think his force cields make the game glichee so please turn it off.

Real Question: To what does the LVL pertain or is there a key to the leader board, not that i can shoot yet but just curious.

Yeah that one game lagged bad and since I got the first kill I kept getting spawn kills
