Nobody has a clue including the developers. That would make them Clue - less. :(

I personnally think they do know. They just dont want to "promise" anything anymore.
And if they have decided to postpone anything regarding COD 's patches in favor of an early new game release, they would be in for a flaming war.
They have to evaluate probably many more variables than we can think of before making an official statement.
We'll know someday....

If they have shelved CoD (temporarily or not) for a sequel, they sure would not admit it. That would kill the sequel sales. The only way a sequel could sell is with the hope CoD is fixed. I will buy the sequel only after CoD is fixed.

No one knows when the patch is coming but it will be worth the wait for sure, Luthier as said that we will get a 50% performance increase and then theres always the surprise he has promised us that will blow our socks off something that as never been seen before apparently. No pressure then Luthier.

I've stopped playing.. I'm really bored but sorry to say it.. When the patch is out I will be all refreshed and good to go :)

Psychologically the only reason for people's disappointment (and whining) is a gap between too high expectations and reality. I would not expect that much from the upcoming patch till I witness a beta.

I do not remember Luthier saying or promising the above. I think he said they hope or trying to get these results or working on these features. This is very different from saying we will get something or promising something especially in Russia.

At least 50% of whining here happens because of too high expectations which are everyone's own personal responsibility imho.

BTW these 2 links can be used to get most recent updates from the devs directly:
- Luthier http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/search....archid=2305661
- BlackSix http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/search....archid=2305666

Mods can make a sticky with them to avoid repetitive threads.

I hope they do fix ( a lot !) COD before going on with the new project...But imagine that they would come up with a very good and optimized sequel in few months, even if COD is not completely patched, you would not be tempted to buy the new game and hope for the best for COD ?
You would not be tempted after seeing screens and videos from happy new customers of the new game with all the features to say" oh well, lets move on " and maybe COD will eventually benefit from these new codes...
For $60 you wouldn't ? Cheaper than one meal at a restaurant ? ;)
I would !!!!!

Salute !
