No. I only fly cold runway start missions, my break is on a HOTAS button, I just checked it is not stuck or misconfigured..

Why did the Wellington never take off either in mission2? Was his foot on the break also!

This problem must lay at your mashine, because, we do not have it. And other players haven´t it. I contacted 2 of our known engl. Customers. Both say it´s okay.

yes, I've bought the english online version.

I was playing the campaign_wick_en on the first mission. I had right now a quick look over the first mission's files, but I couldn't find anything to cause what I saw.

I assume there must be some untranslated messages coming directly from within your package's code.

I flew north, but as I just entered the mission to have a quick look, I wasn't paying attention to the briefing. I took off, I've headed North, I was expecting to meet the spitfires sometime before reaching the english coast (it was marked on the flightpath) but I haven't, then when I've reached english coast, I've headed East (instead following mission's route to West). Of course I haven't meet the spitfires, which were actually following the coast towards West. After some time I've figured it out (by having a quick view change on the spitfires), so I've turned East and started following them.

So, after a while, I've started receiving big german messages on the center of the screen, telling me that the mission time was exceeded or something, then I've got another one at the end when I've crashed on an english airfield.

Was that such a Message:

Sie haben in der Mission 0 Flugzeuge abgeschossen!

?

Thomas

Yes I guess thats the failed mission message and I get that one too in my English install. I guess you guys missed a few translations here and there because I get the occasional sentence or word in German.

We will correct it this weekend, i think. we take out those messagelines from the Game and put it into the Mission Review/End Mission Statistik Screen. So this was such an interems solution in that time, where we had no own interface. Sorry for that, but will be corrected at Weekend ;).

Well i fail to see what on my machine would stop the Wellington from taking off. Or my own plane for that matter, but if no one else has had this problem I'm lost for an explanation. Is there a script that stops you taking off before you fulfil certain criteria?

I have tried again and this time the Wellington took off and i was able to as well.

HeinKill

make a Video from a Erpr.Gr.210 Mission, you hear nice how the custom radio call work for the Bomber pilot.

I really think this add-on is one of the best things to happen in CloD,but is it just me:I was flying a Hurricane in one of the first missions ( the third I think) all I had to do was shoot down a solitary Heinkel 111, I did find it ( no automatic pilot vectoring either- you have to obey the vectoring commands, which is ok...) and proceeded to pump it full of 303 rounds. The Verdamnt thing refused to go down & flew sedately back to France. Not only did I not get credit for the kill or a damaged, but the whole campaign got scuppered( deleted) & I am now starting over.In another example :I was flying one of Wick's 109's ,my job was to shoot down 2 Hurricanes & 1 Spitfire during the alloted time.Well, I shot down two Spitfires & one Hurricane-quite good I thought for the kind of FPS I have in combat,BUT the program didn't agree with me & now I must repeat the mission until I get thescores right. To me both scenarios are most unrealistic-after all lots of Heikels made it home after being peppered by RAF fighters, and surely the 109 pilot ( von Dietz) would have been honored for his work dispatching 3 RAF Fliegers? I don't mind Dead is Dead at all,it forces you not to take too many risks , but I wish I could simply turn off the missions goals,it would make these missions more real not less.

The Goal in the Helmut Wick Campaign is, Exactly get his Kills in the same Time in the Mission. That is the Win Condition. If you do not want it, you can take the JG2 Campaign. There you do not have such regulations. But Wick is Wick.

If you were not able to shout the Single Heinkel, Buddy, you need Training. That´s fact. This happened, by the way, very often. You need many Skill to down this Bombers with less Ammo. Me i am able to down 2-3 Heinkels in one Mission, when i have a good day. if i have not a good day, i fail a single downing.... like you ;)...
