The dive attack with the Ju88 was just a steep dive, usually not over 75°, initiated with a nose over from level flight.

Thanks for that. I suppose it was a similar situation to the He 177?

Was there a similar problem with an allied bomber? Something in my brain says there was. But I'm probably wrong :cool:

The Victoria-Station Bomber

A Dornier Do 17Z-2 (1./KG76 F1+FH, Robert Zehbe) is rammed over London by Sgt. Ray Holmes of No 504 Sqn.(P2725 TM-B), 15 September 1940.
The Do 17 crashed at Victoria Station.
