Yet here you are complaining about it......who exactly is stopping you? People are just as entitled to express their opinion if they think you are incorrect.

Fox, I find it incredulous that you never heard about the problems with CoD. I have been disappointed with what’s going on with CloD so I purchased RoF. I’ve been on a few times but, to be honest, it bores me. I’m just patiently waiting for the patch. Whilst waiting I read this forum and have a chuckle at the to and fro arguments.
When flying RoF I watch the comments constantly coming up on screen from those flying. I noticed there was a substantial amount of talk on the issues with CloD. If I, as a newbee on RoF, can see that then you, as a person that is on way more than me, should also see it also. I can understand mate why people on here are highly suspicious that you are trolling. |
Well i can say in my case:
I was a big fan of IL2, first with FB, then PF, then later on 1946. Had a lot of very enjoyable hours in the previous. Being a big fan, I followed the development of what was originally going to be " Storm of War" I believe, fairly closely. After a while I just got away from it I guess, with time dragging on out. Then I read it was released as Cliffs of Dover, and I headed over to the forums, including this one. Then I read all the issues with the original release, so I held off. Then I read about the patch and some things it fixed, and things it did not. I still held off. It wasn't until about 5 weeks or so ago, after reading about the next patch being worked on and the performance improvements to come with it, that I took the plunge and purchased it - from Steam - paid full price. I do not regret it, I have not but maybe 3 hours of actual flying time in it so far, but it ain't all that bad. Granted I am not an online flyer, offline only, and on my system I get relatively decent peformance. I am looking forward to getting more time in it, and the next patch that will hopefully soon be released. I certainly have no regrets so far - it is quite a beautiful and complex sim. |

I see that Comrade Tree has fallen once more to the 'Sword of Banocles'. His noble sacrifice is once more duly noted. The truth has many Martyrs. Fight the powers that be. |

It is sad but true that perhaps the greatest thing to come out of these forums for me is the Trololo song. I've got it on my ipod so if I get the 'are we there yets' from the back seat or white noise from the House Dragon in the passenger seat I can just turn it on and wait.
Once it needed 5 minutes before they begged for mercy. Apart from that its pretty much been a bust. As to OP, come on , show your face ! |
