I've done nothing but defend this game and stick around, but were all adults so lets face facts..... the patch will come out but the players wont be coming back in their masses. COD is out next week, everyone will be playing that, its going to be a great game theirs no denying it.

Unfortunately gentlemen i fear this is the end of BoP, only a select few will be sticking around, but as the days turn to weeks and no more players turn up then they will move onto other games. I fear our great adventures will be over soon because the patch wasnt released sooner.

I don't think it will die. Some will stay, at least every night there are about 60 people online on ps3. Otherwise I am more into the single-player. I just recently bought the DLC and I can't wait for some more to continue the missions. Also I for one won't be buying mw2, cod4 was great, and cod W@W was even better(ww2 nut) but mw2 looks to be way to easy for me. Waiting patiently for Battlefield Bad Company 2 in March which leaves times to play BOP. :grin: http://badcompany2.ea.com/#/videos

Did'nt want to argue. I was just pointing out the reason for the discussion, which you said was pointless. And you did complain about people complaining, when nobody was. :-P

And yes, it will be hard for BOP to tear people away from MW2, Forza 3, Borderlands, and Dragon Age. As far as the 360 side of it goes.

Yep im waiting, gave the game 2 weeks but just cant fly/play with the rudder and throttles the way they are.

Get them on the triggers and shoulders where they should be an i will be back in the air.

Not getting MW2 so that doesnt bother me (I've got enough to play with OFDR, BoP & FM3)

This thread is kind of pointless. It's not really going to make a different if people 'sign'.

Honestly, I haven't played BoP in weeks, but it's not because I'm waiting for a patch come out. In fact, I might play it today.

Nevertheless, I will stay on this forum when MW2 comes out. I'm positive lots of people will buy it and have a great time playing it, but I'm not getting it since it seems like MW with a 2 put in the title.

If you aren't playing BoP because there are all sorts of problems, that's fine by me. But I bought the game and so I'm going to enjoy it.

Forza 3, Operation Flashpoint 2 and Borderlands are stealing my time at present :) I will continue to play IL2 regardless of a patch although I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival too.
