Superb! For the old-timers here, back in the early days of IL-2 I created a website called "Wiley's WWII GunCam World". I had to shut it down after 2-3 years because of crazy bandwidth costs.

The COD damage effects, and other advancements, have now provided the opportunity to produce amazingly realistic GunCam footage. We've come a long way, baby!

I showed the clip to a couple of people, after telling them it was actual colorized gun camera film. Neither of them guessed what it really was, until I told them it was from CoD, a PC-based flight simulator. Eyebrows were raised, and mouths fell open, in each case.

Anyone here know a good combination for getting guncamera like filters? The black bars running back and forth etc.

I used to use virtual dub for IL-2 back in the day, but unfortunately I lost the filter package called "MSU OldCinema 2.0" that easily added all these oldtime 40's black and white movie effects.

Would be much appreciated if somebody could point me in the correct direction :) I've made these vids using that:
