Well Summers, I've got six completed ...out of 12. Unfortunately for you, number five is still not done due to the odd looking "5" it used (seen in photos). At the moment, I am going to have to do custom numbers for "three" and "five" until/if I can find the correct font. These two planes will be the last to leave "the paintshop" unless this changes, sorry.
PS. Nice to know I'll be painting a fellow JG26er's plane. |
Almost done..
I think this is as close as I'm going to get the number 5. The comparison pic will be on it's way shortly (once finished).. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1-19_00001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...m-1940-011.jpg |
WOW!!!!!
BEAUTIFULL!!!! I am speechless. Thanks alot buddy, this will be great..:-P Thats perfect for me. Cant wait to fly my brown 5 or 4. Thank you very much. S! LC |
When released, you'll notice small differences with each skin (whatever I've noticed in the photographs, I've tried to add to the particular skin). For example.. Brown 11 seems to have larger markings on the fuselage.
Been having a hell of a time trying to get the "8" just right, another custom number I forgot to mention I had to do. This is what I've come up with so far.. Original Pic. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...n8Original.jpg Mine in black and white. ...and in colour. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...own8GScale.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ins/Brown8.jpg |

Nice skins EZ!

Only, right term which was used to call people from Yugoslavia is Yugoslavs (not Yugoslavians)... Also, plane in that skin should be Me-109E3 not E4. Maybe you used E4 to show colors, without "forced" heavy weathering for E3 which we sadly have in-game. Plane no.26 is that of Captain 1st Class, Mihajlo Miho Klavora (1905 - 1941). He was the pilot of the Yugoslav Royal Air Force who died on 7th April 1941. while defending the capitol, Belgrade. https://forum.worldofwarplanes.com/i...E2%80%94-1941/ http://www.elknet.pl/acestory/belgra/belgra1.htm Here couple of shots of my effort to skin the same plane... http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...2-04_00008.jpg http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...2-04_00007.jpg http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...2-04_00002.jpg And this is the plane in German civil markings that he flew from Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke in Austria to Zemun RYAF airfield on 19.10.1939. http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...2-04_00004.jpg Older screenshots, before forced heavy weathering... http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...f109e3yu05.jpg http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/...f109e3yu06.jpg Royal Yugoslav Air Force acquired 74 Bf 109E-3s redesignated Me 109E. Until the unconditioned capitulation was signed, all of the machines were destroyed in air - fighting or on the ground, by crews to prevent them being captured.
