What 'Equipment' do you use

Hey MrX

Can i just check, do you have a decent joystick and separate rudder control block (via Controlled by your footing)?

I think the slight flaw i have is due to the fact that my rudder function is a twist motion on my joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D pro)... The aircraft swings too aggressively when firing the cannons... In dog fights i slow down/ staller easier too!

Anyone else have an opinion?

Cheers

Im confused now on convergence settings. In your video you say that your convergence settings are Guns 150 V / 400 H and Cannons are 150 V/500 H but the convergence settings for the 109 are reversed pre alpha patch. Now with the 1.6 alpha patch and hot fixed what is your convergence setting???

all this bugged/non-bugged convergence settings is making me dizzy.. what's the actual real-life convergence you're using please, MrX? is it 400/500 horizontal, and 150 vertical?

also, can you upload some of the tracks, please? there's only one link to a single track, and even that's not working anymore..

Im new to this game(4 days total ) and i hope MK.Mr.X or someone else can give me some answers . I start to play with the Bf 109-4b . The joystick i use is a brand new Logitech Extreme 3d Pro .

1. Should i use Auto prop - or manual prop pitch ?

2. Does the config from water and oir radiator influence airspeed ?
I mean i get faster/slower when i have them closed / open ?

3. @MK.Mr.X What do u change when u fly with a Bf109-4b . DO u trim ur aircraft and how ? DO u close or open radiators( in % plz half open ~ 50 % )? Do u turn lights ? Do u use flaps for combat ? U are always on full throttle except for extrem diving ? When u use afterburner ?

4. What buttons do u have on ur joystick ?

5. PPl say the Bf109 has better climg rate then the Spit . This means when i have a spit on my 6 with nearly same speed and i start to climb i can get him off ?

6. Now u said earlier before u have set ur weapon convegerence to 150 V / 400 H and also u said that ingame stats are reverted . This means i have to set in the Weaponconfiguration 400 V / 150 H to get ingame 150 V / 400 H correct ?

7. When i let the joystick in mid position airplane starts to turn right is this normal ? Is it possibel to fix ?

8.and now my biggest problem during online dogfights is what should i do when i have someone on my 6 ? ( happens many times )

Regards,
Zera

Ps:sry for my english if u have problems to understand someting tell me plz

1.manual prop
2.Yes
3.а)Fly without problems radiator 80% open.
b)laps only on landing and take-off
c)Thrust on the need to use. There are many cases when it is necessary
d)Gas use by necessity need. There are many cases when it is necessary
е)You can always turn on the afterburner, if fuel is not sorry:grin:
4.Browse. Weapons. Flaps. Traction. Trimer. Increasing the angle. Alignment.
5.Spit2a has excellent Climbie. At altitudes above 3500m, BF-109 can not escape Spit2a.:(
6.Now in the game all right. Put it in the game
7.This is not normal. Should at speeds up to 340 km, take away to the left. Over 340km, goes smoothly.
8.This you can see in my video.:)

Fight with 71st_AH squad...
(You can skip first 8 mins. Taking off and climbing).
I took off. I was flying over channel with climbing and I had spotted 4 contacts at altitude 4000 m. I was following them having thought that somebody chasing somebody. I was really suprised when all of them turn on me and ....
