Don't laugh that is an in game shot at low detail levels! As for the training video, it's hardly DCS A-10 training is it. Also a lovely bright green for the fields of England. :mad::mad:

I just ran 1946 on the lowest settings and it looks better than the spit in the screenshot. Why would you even offer such a low setting? First I thought it was a joke but saw the same graphics on a youtube CoD vid at low settings. Hopefully they get all the kinks out before it reaches the Americas. Epileptics countermeasures, no sli? No wonder they had to scale everything down. Make tomorrows flightsim and handicap it so it can only run on 5 year old technology at 10 fps? I'm still an optimist. The sun will come up tomorrow. I passed my 6 month checkride today. Heck, my wife smiled at me tonight. Someday they get this thing running the way it's supposed to.

I think this particular uploader's biggest problem is his 2GB of RAM first and foremost. It's been repeatedly stated in the past that although it will run with 2GB, a minimum of 3GB is needed to have any sort of smooth gameplay over solid land due to the amount of objects present on the map.

To be honest i'm only worried about the epilepsy filter FPS loss, but they'll probably patch away the problem before i even get the game in my hands. I'm running an i7 920 at stock speed with an Ati 4890 and 3Gb of RAM and after seeing him run the game at minimum with his PC specs, i expect to easily crank most settings up to medium on my relatively lower-res monitor (1680x1050), maybe at the cost of getting some extra RAM after a few benchmaking runs.
