I am sorry, but I have to nitpick again.

The position of the landing light on the BF 108 is wrong.

It should be to the left of the pitot tube and not on an extended arm.

This really strikes me as odd, cause it is visible on like any picture of the Bf 108. so why is it wrong on your model?

But even more important in terms of DM, do you have the fire extinguisher system modeled?

It's not BoB era, but it's a beautiful shot! I''d say this is late 1940 (or late October 1940) to early 1941. The pilot appears to be wearing a 1941 pattern mae west. It may be the BoB 1932 pattern, but the colour looks off (unless he doped the whole thing yellow)
Also, the white-band on the spits fuselage didn't appear in the BoB I don't think :D

But man these are some great shots. I can remember seeing them in a life magazine from the period :cool:

Foo'bar i like m108 have modern desine this plane in ww2 used for transport or training the new luftwaffe pilots.

Good grief! That is one worn down Hurricane! Now, this is a Royal Navy aeroplane, and the salty sea will do bad things to paint, but still, if this is the state to which an aeroplane were allowed to deteriorate to, then Olegs worn Spitfire has a long way to go...

If it was one of the Hurricanes bound for the catapult launch, I think they were quite old and tired. Once they took off if they were too far from land it was a one way trip. Paint would not have been a priority
