They could even make it a multiplayer mission. Fox and hounds type thing. It wouldn't be any fun if they could spot him on radar instantly, it would be a pack of dogs on a 3 legged cat.

I quite like that MP idea, i nice little game mode indeed

It would take a lot of teamwork on the part of the aggressors. They can't see the guy on radar, so they have to organize across the large maps that BoP offers, try and find a plane that could be at any altitude. Give the photo recon guy a specific target, but make it any 1 of 3-4 targets on the map to keep it random, otherwise the aggressors will just circle the target. The photo plane has to get the picture(s) in a set time and then make it out of the zone alive in order to win. It would be a lot of fun because it would require you to think things through. Choose a route to the target, watch for the aggressor squadron, try to get in without them knowing you're there. People that are very routine will get eaten up fast, whereas it will give the creative players a chance to test their skill and their brains in a match where they are always outnumbered.

It doesn't sound bad, but I think this would have too limited appeal to attract enough players for it to be worthwhile. After all, there is a good chance most of the aggressors won't even see their target once in the entire match, and even if they do, the average photo-recon plane is quicker than the average interceptor. I would be happy with this, I like modes that involve strategy and thinking, but most players wouldn't like it.

I would pay good money for a Project Natal head tracking upgrade DLC once natal hits the shelves (it'd need some kind of fiddle factor though so the 'pilot' could look behind while I could still look at the screen).

I personally don't like too much MP stuff as DLC as it limits the number of games you can join if you don't have it.
Plane packs would be an obvious choice and they could be a compulsory download but you can only use the planes if you pay (like with the knothole island DLC for Fable2, if you are co-oping with a friend you can go there but you cant do any of the quests) if so F6 Hellcat please :D.

I'm really liking the sound of the Strike MP mode so maybe some variants or that?
Extra missions are always welcome too.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a Pacific Theater DLC pack, with F4U Corsairs, Zeros and Hellcats. ;p Another thing I wouldn't mind seeing is a more in depth paint scheme creator. We all love to have our identity, so why not let us roll around with some of our own style that we can show off and trade? I mean wouldn't it be cool to have squad colours or some very identifiable Red Baron type who has a unique paint scheme all to his own?

Just as long as no planes become neon pink etc. I'll be fine with it. Keep it real and nice, no novelty crap. That was really annoying.

What happens is that the amount you move your head produces an exaggerated effect on your pilots head movement, so turning your head 45 degrees (which still lets you look at the screen by turning you eyes independently of your head) would have your pilot looking back over his shoulder. Takes a bit of getting used to but thats how systems like TrackIR have been working for years.

How about the P39 Airacobra....?

It's a sleek looking killing machine that saw quite a lot of active service on the Eastern Front...
